I followed instructions here http://community.mybb.com/thread-44977-p...pid1155718 (without the "allow," my access was denied).

After the "," correction I could once more access crypto.country/forum/admin BUT when I started my VPN service, I still could access and login!! How can that be...? It's IP is *not* in the allow list. So how to block everyone completely if their IP is not known?

Can you paste the present content of that .htaccess (cut the IPs out)?

.htaccess is stored in the /forum/admin folder.
