I have forked and updated Asmile's Forum Cleaner plugin to work in 1.8 and fixed some minor issues I/others did find.

I did test the plugin and couldn't find any issues this far. If you are interested in this plugin please debug the issues you find and file proper bug reports so that I can fix them when I have the time.

The more detailed the reports are the faster I will probably fix them.

Install it and figure it out yourself? I checked the code just before replying to your question and couldn't find references to it being possible but I'm not the original developer so I can be wrong.

Probably because the plugin is 2+ years old?

Yes, but it has worked until mybb 1.0.8.
