Since i have upgraded to the latest version new members cannot register.
I have disabled all of the spam checking stuff but its still not working.
Any ideas?

member_register template may be reverted to its original version

I've also got other issues such as plugins which don't work but they are not compatible so i have had to disable them.
The threads also appear differently.
I'm guessing all this is due to the theme compatibility.
Ok, so i've changed to a compatible theme.
I've changed the plugin compatibility and got most of them to work again. Ones which i can't get working have been disabled.
still getting issues with members not being able to log in or register. I have cleared the cache etc
Members are claiming they can't post on the forum now. I've checked all the group permissions and all looks ok.
Found that the moderator group permissions had changed since the upgrade
Just opened the Config.php file and its empty.
Im sure this isn't correct!
Taptalk app isn't working now either/

I'm guessing this from had 1.6 installed before? Your theme is out of date and things like the registration page won't work. You will need to update the current theme or hire a designer to do it for you.
Upload the default 1.8 theme and try it to see if it works.
As for tapatalk you need to update your plugin, see Tapatalk for help with that.
