So I copied over the whole public_html folder, before that I exported the theme. Now when I try to import it, I get the error The following errors were encountered:
MyBB could not find the theme with the file you uploaded. Please check the file is the correct and is not corrupt.

Uh... help?

what is format of the exported theme ? it should be xml

It is, I also opened it and it didn't have any problem opening.

If anyone has the same problem, check if your file has </theme> in the end, might be incomplete.
