Hi,

I am interested in having special permissions for newly registered users. I.e. after 1 post, they become a normal user, but until then they can only post in an 'introductions' sub-forum. Can this be done in myBB?

If it can't be done, does there exist any plugins/mods to achieve this?

A solution to your question has been mentioned in another thread, please check it out. You can follow the instructions directly, as there hasn't been any changes in 1.6/1.8 for the following tutorial. Please let us know if there's another problem
