Okay, it was pagespeed. Trying to find out what setting caused it, possibly javascript rewrite.

Would never had guessed it was PageSpeed! Sorry I couldn't resolve this for you!

Found out why! Wohoo.

I had to disable this, sadly:
#pagespeed EnableFilters lazyload_images;
