Hello everyone,

I have looked this up everywhere and everything I find is too old so I either can't find the right place to turn this off or I just turn notifications off for this setting.

I want to know how to COMPLETELY turn off the Account Activation required state for users on my forum, because I don't want to individually activate the 10-50 users that join per day, it's very frustrating and I get many complaints in my email about how users cannot post or anything.

Please give me a detailed way to turn this off working for the latest version of MyBB as of May 19th, 2015.

admin panel >> configuration (settings) >> Login and Registration Options >> Registration Method

you can select required method there and save the settings
