Hi Good day,
                  I just need to know about this simple question that what version should any one use now, I mean there are lot of plugins and themes of 1.6.x then 1.8x so my question is, Is 1.6.x better to run live than 1.8.x?
This question is asked here because here you guys are experts , developers and mybb pros so you can give me an answer based on your work experience.

MyBB 1.6 doesn't receive bug fixes since the release of 1.8.0 and we'll stop supporting it at all on 1. September: http://blog.mybb.com/2015/05/13/mybb-1-6...ouncement/
