The message

"MyBB has experienced an internal error and cannot continue.

Error Type:
MyBB Error (42)
Error Message:
Your board has not yet been upgraded. Please do so before attempting to browse it.
Please contact the MyBB Group for technical support."

Ive tried going mysite/install/upgrade.php and tried upgrading it, it says
"Error
Error
The installer is currently locked, please remove 'lock' from the install directory to continue"

second error says that there is a file named lock in install folder of your MyBB files server.
delete that file to run upgrading process. the error messages are very clear - are not they !?
