I am not the pro user that many of you are. I"m good at following instructions though. My forum was apparently hacked. I have gone into myPHPAdmin and reset myself as admin and reset my password. But that doesn't appear to the be issue.
helixfairweather.com/forum
The page does not display in the usual HTML format. It is instead a list of links for events on the forum page. Any of those links takes one to a page of online sales for viagra.
What suggestions do you have for me on how to fix this?
Thank you,
Helix Fairweather (very much a newbie)
Do you have a .htaccess file present in the root directory of helixfairweather.com? If so, paste its contents here.
I do not have a .htacess file in the root directory.

Thank you! I did not think to check my actual site. I don't have a .htaccess in the /forum directory. I have one in the site directory that is 4900 bytes in size but totally blank. I removed it but nothing improved.
I am running a search for all files dated with today's date.
I may have to get the Joomla expert in the UK to clean up the site.

Your site isn't actually infected, I didn't pay attention to the detail in the sucuri link and Avast didn't show a domain name when it alerted me, instead it showed a ip address (80.242.123.166) which is connected to the redirect domain (imeds2015.com).
I don't know anything about joomla but a quick search shows it is possible to redirect websites in a number of ways, one of these is through its very own redirect manager:

PS: Your version of joomla may be outdated:

@helix137 if you still need help then you may PM me (also
turn on receiving PMs at your
user CP options)
Thank you! It's all fixed now. There were site issues and a new .htaccess file fixed all of it.
