Recently a user on my board who was an admin demoted one of my other admins and pruned all of her posts, due to a falling out they had on another forum. So, is it possible to restore the posts that the *ex.* admin deleted?

I don't think so unless you have a recent backup.

Hmmm. But isn't there, like, some SQL query that you can run to recover posts?
Recover them from where though, if not from a backup mentioned above?

Yes. And as it has already been said 2 times, you need a
backup of it. Because as you mentioned in the 1st post, your admin was deleted from the current database. If you don't have old version of it, you can't simply do anything.
Just to make sure that you understand us - if you draw something on a piece of paper with a pencil and then someone burns a part of it, you can't recover that part unless you made a copy of it earlier. Similar thing applies to virtual data. That's why regular backups are extremely important and I hope you'll remember this after this accident.
The admin wasn't deleted, just her posts, though. But anyways... oh well.
If the posts were fully deleted (e.g. NOT soft deleted), then your only option is from a backup.
Soft delete DOES keep the posts in the database, and you'd be able to recover those from the database. "Hard" delete, however, completely removes the record from the database.
Pruning performs a "hard" delete because it's assumed the things you're trying to mass delete are not wanted at all anymore.
The only thing that wasn't wanted was the insane admin on my forum who deleted the posts... but anyways. Thanks for your guys' help.
