Hello friends, I am new to the forum and need your help

I would really appreciate a response as I am really worried

I was adding new smilies and I have put them under a new folder and added them from mass edit

They were showing up as black icons so I unzipped the folder to images directly and I was able to view them

Then I deleted some old emoticons (smilies) from mass edit and I am not sure what happened the mass edit suddenly stopped working

Nothing is getting deleted. So I deleted few smilies directly from under images folder and it messed up the whole forum

For example if you look at this thread

the smilies are appearing in between the text

Please please please help me

All threads are now messed up

Even images are not displayed because the smilies appear in between the url and therefore the image urls dont work

I have an old backup from 4/19 but I am scared to use it as I might lose all the threads and posts that were posted after 4/19

Images and smilies seem to display fine for me in the linked threads. Provide a testing account affected by this bug if it's still not fixed.

I checked a while back, and they were messed up, but now they appear to be working, so I suppose OP solved this on his own.

Thank you Destroy666 and Cookie123 - I was able to resolve the main issue

One of the smilies I added the "text to replace" was blank- so all blanks were replaced with that icon

So after deleting it the issue went away

But the other issue is still there

I am unable to delete smilies from Mass edit

but the regular delete from Manage icons still works

If you want faster help, provide more details. "xxx not working" doesn't tell us anything. What exactly happens when you're trying to delete smilies in Mass Edit?
