How can I fix that? Is there a stopforumspam version for 1.8.3? I am in need cause my host has blocked us to send emails via our forum (Registration etc) Thats what they told me

Hi,

StopForumSpam is built in to MyBB 1.8. It's configurable via the ACP Settings area.

Stop Forum Spam is a default 1.8.x feature.. ACP -> Configuration -> Stop Forum Spam

Also, you should upgrade to 1.8.5 if you want your forum to be secure.

EDIT: Do I need a key and where do I put it?

A key has never been needed for basic SFS functionality.
