I just upgraded my MyBB forum to 1.8.5. Before the upgrade I had deactivated all plugins as instructed. Now, when I want to activate Google Analytics i get:


/var/www/vhosts/myamazingforum.com/httpdocs/inc/languages/english/admin/favicons.lang.php does not exist

Will there be an plugin update which is compatible with 1.8.5 or is there something else wrong?

that error is not related to Google Analytics plugin. And there is no need to use the plugin.
Google Analytics code given by the Analytics web site can be added to footer template of the theme(s)

you can also disable & uninstall favorite icon plugin and follow suggested methods at replies of this thread
