Hello! I'm still a bit new to installing plug ins and I'm not sure if I missed it anywhere but I've been trying to install the plug in and it doesn't work. I click activate and it just takes me to a blank screen. I moved all the files from the my alerts folder to their proper place but I'm not sure what to do with the MACOSX file

The blank screen could be because you don't have PluginLibrary, or due to another issue. Which version of PHP are you using? You can find out in ACP > Tools & Maintenance > PHP Version Info.

You don't do anything with it. Euan presumably uses an Apple Mac as his PC so that file appears on Windows filesystems sometimes as leftover data.

MyAlerts requires PHP 5.3.6 or newer. You might be able to ask your host to upgrade. PHP 5.2.17 is very old now and is no longer supported by PHP (support ended in January 2011...).

And yeah, I use a Mac. You can just ignore the .MACOSX files

I think there's a problem with the plugin.

I think the Avatar Dimensions for the MyAlerts plugin also affects some avatars in their profile and showthread pages.

EDIT: When I deleted my alerts, the problem seem to be resolved. Avatar went back to normal.

If you're using MyBB 1.8.5, it should be fixed
