Thanks! I wasn't aware of any issues relating to the avatars. Do they fail to display, or do they display broken images? If you right click on the image and select "copy image path" (in Chrome - it may be worded differently elsewhere), what URL is it showing? Also, which version of MyBB are you using? The latest GitHub release is usually the best bet for a stable(-ish) version of the plugin
Im using the latest MyBB and I downloaded the plugin on mybbs plugin page.
I cannot see any image but on Edge and Chrome it looks like the image is broken.
In both chrome and Edge it says:
http://www.webpage.com/Array
In Firefox I cannot see that it is broken, nothing shows up. Not even with Firebug.
thanks for your answer,

Euan i have a question
How can i make mine:
Look like this:
I know one part is in the language files
{1} replied to your thread "{2}". There may be more posts after this.
Here is one part. How can i make the replied to your thread part not clickable and the color grey?
Hi,
You'd need to modify the templates alert_row and alert_row_popup, along with the language file and the main plugin file. Since v2.0.0, the whole text is a link due to the new way that alerts are marked as read. Changing that behaviour would take some work to construct the row from multiple language strings.

Interesting. Can you try the code from GitHub and see if that helps at all? You might need to deactivate the plugin an activate it again.

I really wanted to make only the message such as "replied to your thread" "quoted you in" etc not clickable and just the color grey to blend in. Obviously the actual message to stay the same.
Help would be much appreciated, thanks

Hi,
It'd be quite a lot of work, and would almost certainly break with plugin updates. I really wouldn't recommend it unless you're experienced with patching plugins and templates often. The lines in question would be around the following lines:
https://github.com/MyBBStuff/MyAlerts/bl...tml#L9-L11
https://github.com/MyBBStuff/MyAlerts/bl...tml#L9-L11
https://github.com/MyBBStuff/MyAlerts/bl...hp#L16-L21
https://github.com/MyBBStuff/MyAlerts/bl...hp#L22-L36
It would also require changes to all of the other formatters to include the show alert links inside the formatted output, so that's another 5 file changes to make too. As I said, it's quite a large amount of work for a seemingly fairly simple change.

Damn, all this work just to make the type of alert not clickable, i didn't think it would be that hard.
Is there any simpler way to do it? I really think it's much better to make the type of alert not clickable i.e "replied to your thread" "quoted you in" etc because it most definitely makes it look cleaner.

Yeah, unfortunately that's the way that the system is written at the minute. It'll possibly change in a future release. I'm afraid that's the only way of doing it, apart from some wacky JavaScript stuff.

I'm assuming the language files are to make the type of alert grey. Then the templates are to make it not clickable?
I'm pretty lose on what the line on the plugin does though. Any help with that part?

The language files are the actual text, they are rendered into the variable "{$alert['message']}" by the plugin. That whole variable is inside a link ("<a>"). The plugin section that's highlighted builds the {$alert['message']} variable (along with a few others). You'd need to modify the templates to use 3 variables (one for the text before the link, one for the link text, another for the text after the link) or to use one variable built from three (the same three as before).
Great script!
However, I have encountered a small issue, whenever an alert is finding place, it's showing up twice in the alert box, I'm wondering why this is happening?
