With myBB 1.6 there was a plugin which produced a yellow banner at the top of the forum so mods and admins would notice there were posts waiting to be moderated. This plugin does not work for 1.8. Is there something else available for 1.8? As it it now I barely notice if there are posts waiting to be moderated. All it says is a number in parenthesis on the index page next to total number posts in a forum.
