I have quite a few plugins installed that are working great and a LOT of coding I've done to perfect the look and feel of my forum.


With this new upgrade, will it effect the installed plugins? Will it ruin the coding I've done to get advertisements, links and side boxes?

It shouldn't, but as always make sure to back both your forum files and your database up just in case. If you're really worried, I'd advise running an upgrade on a local copy of the site first too.
