Steps to reproduce the error:
  1. [mybbsite]/install/upgrade.php
  2. Click on "What information is sent?"

you should only use [mybbsite]/install

Whether you want an upgrade or not will be asked during the process.

Yes, afterwards I clicked "next" (I forgot how many times) before I saw that. So to play safe, I gave the link of the page that problem was on. Big Grin
