Hi,

i set setting in mybb admin panel:
Maximum Images per Post to: 0 (so unlimited)

But users still get message:
The message you entered contained 10 images, while only 5 images per message are allowed. Please lower the image count in your message to meet the limit.

Where else can this be set, that override main setting? What can i do?

Can you try making it blank instead of 0?

The irony is that on my testing site whatever i set the value a user can post as many pictures.. even if he was a registered member...

Is your inc/settings.php set to CHMOD 777?

hm, sorry, i was having backup, and somehow i forget to set it to 777. But why settings are seetings written in two places (database and settings.php)?

Because MyBB uses the settings from the settings.php to reduce the number of queries.. the database entries are to store the information and recreate the settings file.
