Full Version: Show Ban Reason on Profile
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
I'd like for the ban reason and the moderator who banned the user to be shown on profile's if the person browsing is a moderator / admin.  Especially considering the ban list is not searchable or sortable.  Right now you'd have to click Ban User again to find out the ban reason, although that would not tell you who issued the ban either.

Ban reason: {reason} Issued by: {moderator}
There are 2 plugins already made:

A little bit more tweaking this suggestion can be 100% achieved. Wink (Sounds professional eh? but I don't know anything Toungue)
The point is this should be a core feature, not a plugin. It is something that would be useful on almost any forum.

agreed. the ban list needs some work for 2.0, imho.
yup agreed... and yeah the Ban List needs some love in 2.0..
I thought this was added to 1.8, I remember pushing the PR myself...
There is a banned reason already on profile (see screenshot)...

That only means that the Find Updated Templates functionality wasn't used here: https://github.com/mybb/mybb/blob/featur....xml#L4737 Unless there is a weird bug since it's working fine on my forum.
