Ever since the upgrade from 1.8.3 to 1.8.5 we have experienced a huge surge in speed on our forum. The system resource use is lower. CPU isn't clocked out all the time. Not sure how that happened, I'm kind of curious how it did happen.

As far as I know, we didn't make any conscious changes (or if we did, I must have forgotten about them already

We used blood magic. The most powerful magic of them all. Whose blood was it we used is unknown, but it worked like a charm.

It was probably the change on coding standards (kinda of). We tend to write better code every once on a while.
