htaccess.txt is one of the default file that comes in the MyBB package... it will be located in the root folder of your forum... so if your forum is at
http://www.your-forum.com, the file will be at
http://www.your-forum.com/htaccess.txt
once you located this file using ftp or cpanel file manager, rename that file to .htaccess
note that the name has a dot (.) in front and has no file extensions... after renaming the file, add that line mentioned above...
