Is there any easier way then changing the permissions for all groups manually on forums ?

With access to phpMyAdmin and some knowledge of MySQL you can perform changes by MySQL Queries.

On the other hand, setting permissions is most times a one time job, so set your sight to inifinity and mind to zero.........

If you change things in the database directly you need to rebuild caches.
