Greetings, I am looking for help for my forum,  when you click on any thread of my forum, it goes back to the home page. I cannot open any threads, they keep on going back to the homepage. This happened suddenly with little warning and nothing has changed. This is the URL:

http://doghealthforums.com

Any help is appreciated.
threads are opening normal (eg.) - but forums are not opening
do you have a .htaccess file at forum root folder ? if so, rename it as htaccess.old

Thank you so kindly for replying. Yes, you are right, threads are opening, it's the the forums that are not. I don't know where to find the forum root folder (sorry newbie, here) so to make those changes, can you please direct me how to find it?

Edited to add: I am in my hosting company, looking for the .forum folder. I read in another post, I should be looking for that as that's the root folder, but cannot find it.
^ forum root folder is the folder where you can see index.php, global.php, xmlhttp.php files and many other php files & subfolders
in general, public_html or www or htdocs can be the root folder

OK, so I am in the root folder. The only thing I see is htacess.text and htaccess-nginx.text
Should I change htaccess.text into htaccess.old? Thank you for your time.
^ no, no need to rename htaccess.txt file.
would you like to PM me temporary access to forum admin panel & files (FTP) to check
you can give your own login credentials and change them later

That's greatly appreciated I will send this to you in a PM in a few minutes.
^ should be fixed now. forum display was affected by a URL rewriting rule used for wordpress.
