what's the difference between:

{$mybb->settings['bburl']}/contact.php?action=contact
and
{$mybb->settings['bburl']}/contact.php

It seems like they both work, is there a down side I'm not aware of?

I suppose this is a 1.8 question, because I cannot find a contact.php module in 1.6.17 (the only version I have).

The 1.8 script contact.php does not have parameters so there is no difference, even if you state ?action=nonsense.
