I really like Discourse's post writer/editor box.
Unlike any other, it shows a live updating post preview next to the post editor. (can be hidden by user)
This allows for immediate previews while still being able to edit formatting tags, which XenForo does not allow for. XenForo shows the formatting in the actual editor.
Yet, Discourse does not allow for much formatting of your post, which defeats the purpose really, MyBB does allow for much formatting.
This would allow for much more efficient post writing.
Another feature Discourse does have is that the (quick) reply box moves with you over the thread. With that you can write your reply whilst quoting posts and reading the thread/OP along the way.
