Hello friends,

I have a facebook like plugin myfacebook connect which allowed me to put a like button on top of the forum

but i would like the like box/button appear on the index page like an overlay similar to what happens with wordpress facebook promoter lightbox

i googled but couldn't find anything for mybb

if any such plugin is available please help

also if there is a way to do it without using a plugin please let me know

I used the code and modified and I am able to see the float on right hand side now

but I need it to appear at the center of the page with an option for user to either like or close the window

also if we could include an option to login using facebook id that would be awesome

i didn't understand your statement about not to add another jQuery could you please eloborate

which version of MyBB you are using ?
this thread is posted in 1.8 section but looks like your forum is on MyBB 1.6.x
