I'm going to be getting PositiveSSL for my MyBB forum today.

I know that SSL isn't exactly necessary for MyBB forums but I want to add that extra bit of security to make my members feel somewhat more secure or comfortable being on my forum. It's the way HTTPS appears at the top of my site which I like, and receiving feedback from my members on adding SSL to the forum makes me want to implement it even more than before.

Anyways... Has there been any known issues with using SSL & MyBB together? Anything you guys can tell me about using SSL with MyBB?

No. There may be problems with external images, but there is a plugin for that: http://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=450

Just set it up and don't forget to change your board URL in ACP -> Configuration => Site Details to https://

Thanks for your help. I heard there could be issues with images so that's why I included the question in my thread. I'll look into the plugin if I have any issues.

Appreciate your support, Destroyer!
