Full Version: SQL error 1040

You can go to my forums main page, but when you click on any  forum, you get the below notice.  Any ideas?

Well after searching the board here, I found out that my host has set the "max connections" to 151.  Is that too low?  What should I ask them to set it at? (Keep in mind I'm only paying $5 a year for hosting)
Ask them to raise it, this should fix the issue. Not sure which number specifically would be best for this.
OK, after doing more research, found out that 151 is about normal for a basic hosting plan. Add to that, this error has not come up anymore today. i am going to assume it was just something temporary and close this out as "solved" unless anyone else wants to opine....
This thread is quite old but I don't want to open a new one with the same title...

I encounter this problem since today morning.
I installed myBB a couple of days ago and it's in some open beta state.
Means there aren't that much users right now.

How is this possible? Is there a way to check what's causing this overflow?
