Random members in my forum have reported that their signature keeps erasing itselves.

I've also had this problem.

Any idea of what could cause it?

Are these signatures erased from the database (users table), or are they simply not shown?

That means you're not using MyBB 1.8.5 and you should always update to the latest minor version.

I've checked in the database and yes, they are erased from it, completely.

What;s your board URL and the signature text which is erasing itself? Provide also a testing account with signature access.

Did you set (AdminCP -> Configurations -> Profile Options):

Allow MyCode in Signatures -> yes
Maximum Number of Images per Signature -> 2 or larger
Length limit in Signatures -> 390 or larger

Yeah. Yes/5/1000.

I added that signature to the testing account and it hasn't disappeared yet. Unless you're using a plugin (provide a list of plugins) with a task which clears profiles, there is nothing in MyBB 1.8.5 that may randomly remove signatures.

Yeah I knew myBB itself doesn't erase signatures, I just didn't know what to do, haha. Thanks for the help.
