So yesterday I installed the 1.8.5 update I was using the old 1.8.5.

Everything was working fine and I was able to access the admin panel afterwards and reinstall any add ons.

Today I went to go into the admin panel and I'm getting the following error message.

MyBB SQL Error
MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
1054 - Unknown column 'authsecret' in 'field list'
Query:
SELECT authsecret FROM mybb_adminoptions WHERE uid='1'
Please contact the MyBB Group for technical support.

Any help please?

do you have automatic updates turned on at the web host panel ?
looks like the upgrading was not run fine and you can try upgrading again by visiting ~/install/upgrade.php

Ah super running the upgrade has fixed it thank-you for the fast reply.
