I need a bit of a help here.

I am setting up a forum where the requirement is displaying 20 threads on the home page. There is only one forum and category so the name of the forum or category is not a matter of concern.

The other thing is, on this list an image should be shown from the first post (if an image attached)


So the home page would like

Any ideas or pointers how to accomplish it?
