Ok so heres the deal.

I have purchased a new domain and moved my existing forums to the new domain.  Everything is set, it all resolves etc. Piece of cake.

In the ACP, under General Conf., I renamed the forums to the new name and also turned the board ONLINE.

The board hasnt accepted either of those. It's still showing the old name and is still offline, BUT in the ACP it shows as being ONLINE and the NEW site name is also displayed under General Config.

SO anyidea whats wrong?

Our kind and wonderful host was able to get it to accept the changes by editing the config. file. However it still might be something you guys want to address.

Address what? You always need to edit the config file if you change important info such as servers/hosts.

Make sure your settings.php is CHMOD 777
