It doesnt seem to work.

what exactly is not working ? you need to provide more details.

When I put options for xthreads to make these fill outs it says its there, but when I go to the site and go to a certain forum it just shows as a text box instead as a fill out.

Thats because you have to edit the template for the newthread and call the xthreads id into it.

Best option is to create a set of templates with a prefix (example: games_*name of template*)

So for the newthread, you would make a new template called games_newthread and make your changes.

Then you will need to edit the forum : Forums and Post -> Forum Management -> Edit Forum Settings


Under "Xthreads Options" there is a place to put your template prefix (Template Prefix)
You would set the template prefix to whatever you named it --- in our example it would be games_


Then the xthreads fields should show up only for that forum you want it to show up on with the custom
template.



In your photo, you've named your custom fields 1, 2 , 3, 4, 5, etc etc.

I wouldn't recommend this. I would give your fields a custom "key" that isn't a number.
Example:

In Game Steam Name -> Key : steam_name
Steam ID - > steam_id
Age - >  *custom name*_age

You want to give them custom "key" names so that there aren't any conflicts in case you want to expand xthreads into other forums. Plus it helps keep it organized so you know what keys are which.
