OK I did the merge and ran the recount in MyBB but the posts don't match

Total Posts: 82335 (Take away maybe 10-20 from this total as I added post after merge)
Total Topics: 14609

Our members have made a total of 46,985 posts in 14,605 threads
Should I do a new purge and what setting do I need to turn off so messages don't get purged ever.

Fixed it my self based on a post I found
