Right, heres what im looking for & perhaps someone could help me........
When a new member registers, i want them to, before they change anything in their cp, to have an auto subsciption method to their own posts.
For example................
If they post a new thread, they are subscribed to it
If they reply to threads, they are subscribed to it.
Im not looking to force them into subscribing to every single post on the forum, just the ones they participate in.
Im wanting to do this as alot of members might not know about changing settings in their cp.
Also, if its a template edit i need to do, how will i know it works?

Sorry for me being silly, i have just gone to make a test account ie log out of my admin account & register as normal & it shows instant email notification from a template edit i did yesterday
