Is there any kind of plugin that can change the look of subforums ie columns in 1.8 without template edits?

You can't change HTML/CSS code without changing the HTML/CSS code in templates and stylesheets.. Just follow this tutorial: http://community.mybb.com/thread-95023-p...#pid694787 but the code that needs to be changed may be different in your 1.8 theme.

looks like i'll have to leave it as it is then if it cant do what i want it to do
