Hi,

I did an upgrade on 7-14-15 and it failed. I really need some guidance as how to get this fixed and really hoping someone can help me.

If I go to my forum to sign in as admin - - I am getting this error message

MyBB SQL Error

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.
SQL Error:1054 - Unknown column 'authsecret' in 'field list'QueryELECT authsecret FROM mybb_adminoptions WHERE uid='1'
Please contact the MyBB Group for technical support.

If you just go to my forum here http://www.aswm.org/forum/ you get this.

from which version of MyBB you have upgraded and to which version ?
upgrade was not completed fine and you can try doing it again

Hi there,

I believe I upgraded from 1.6.7 to 1.8.3 or 1.8.5 - not sure

how would I do the upgrade again - i can't get into my administrative panel.

Do I just download the latest version again and upload it via ftp?

you can upload MyBB 1.8.5 files by overwriting existing files.
run upgrade script by visiting forumURL/install/upgrade.php & follow its instructions

Is there a video for this anywhere?

^ suggested upgrading guidance has all details in simple English. no video should be required to understand the process.
