Hi everyone, i have this problem.

• PHP returned: Missing a temporary folder. Please contact your forum administrator with this error.
  

I'm using 1&1 Hosting, Windows Server. Using myBB v1.8
I called them and they said that can't do anything about it. How i can solve it? I can't import any mybb theme at all whith this error.

ask your web host to create a folder named tmp above public_html folder level and configure it in the php settings

example

upload_tmp_dir ="/usr/home/webhostusername/tmp/"

where i need to poste this php code?

^ in php configuration file (eg. php.ini)

may i ask u where is this file?

yeah they said they don't know how .-.

^ that is strange. anyway, which type of control panel you have to manage your files & database ?
please make a search through a web search engine to get the location of php.ini file (eg.)

anyway i "solved" just bought another host,
i haven't any php.ini nor tmp folder and they said that don't know how to help me xD
