When you really use the default theme, then the 1.6 headerinclude is perhaps a fossile form a previous experiment with another theme?
Anyhow, replace the headerinclude by the original 1.8.05 version, as shown below:

I would try the good headerinclude and then contact him as hee suggests.

Thanks so much for all the help. I have updated the headerinclude as suggested, many thanks for making me aware of that. I have sent login info to .m. who has been very helpful in the past. Will keep posted on the progress.
