I uploaded the files for it into my root and I get these errors.

MyAlerts plugin pack consists of a folder named MybbStuff - it needs to be uploaded to ~/inc/plugins folder

Yes indeed you need to download plugins core library file, if you download since github page this file wasn't download so download manually and upload it, if you use github aplication all goes fine.
https://github.com/MyBBStuff/Plugins.Core
Upload into:
inc/plugins/MybbStuff/Core
if you don't have this file dir then create it and upload that file and done in !!!
