when someone wants to make a thread or reply to a post
they get this loading circle

and it stays like that for ever unless you refresh the page or go to the forum index
but the post goes through
how can i fix this?

Uninstall any plugin that supposedly affects the "Reply interface" (the text editor)... for example I had CK Editor which was faulted as of new mybb version...
oh and none of the development team will answer you because none care enough to know the answer...
