Hello people, I know that question gets asked a lot, but I spent 3 days on research and testing finding the best way to integrate myBB to the community we are building with some friends.

So... lets get to my problem, I bought a template package (html5/css3 - wordpress) and I was trying to implement myBB with it. Keep in mind I studied programming but I focused on game development so my web dev skills are a bit poor.
I dont need integration of logins (ex wordpress login with mybb login etc), what Im trying to achieve is embedding somehow the forum. I found a plugin (wordpress) that did that but it installs mybb as a plugin , the forum is outdated (mybb 1.6.8) and it uses the same database as wordpress , I dont know how wise that will be in case of moving etc.

A friend suggested to style the forum to make it look alike the website and just link it, but I dont know where to start with, and how achievable will be to get the menu bar etc on myBB.
As I also own a html5/css3 version Im open in suggestions, and which way will be easier to integrate it. (I would prefer wordpress though, easier to manage pages and content). So any ideas where to start with? and how? Toungue
