I'm a new user of mybb and I don't know anything about php
I use mybb forum v 1.2.3 and I don't have any problem in it
one day I find a mode called hoteditor_mybb123_mod_v4.0 it's a good
text editor by eCardMAX.com but I have a problem with this editor just with Custom Profile Fields I can't edit the options of "sex" or I can't see the "male female other...." after searching why
I find the cause just changing the the mod's file "functions.php" by the original mybb "functions.php" now I can edit Custom Profile Fields but I can't see Threads .
anyone can help me to this prob

that's right I have the same bug too!

I hate that editor now. It's full of bugs....
I suggest removing it and using the default MyBB one...
for removing this editor it's easy just do this steps
1/ remove and replace this files with the original ones
- newreply.php
- private.php
- xmlhttp.php
- inc/class_parser.php
- inc/functions.php
2/ remove folder richedit
3/ Edit and change to Original the 6Templates
and all will be good
Yup^^^
It's best to get rid of this editor. Although it does seem good, it's actually more of an annoyance in the end....
The Author doesn't even come back as often anymore to check up on it....

I have this made. Now are all Threads destroyed:

if you want Retrieval the from of your threads editing by this editor you may allow HTML in each forum.
caution : allow HTML is serious security risk for any forum
or
just re-install this editor with the bugs
any Code Modifications in php lang I can't do it because I don't know this lang
if any one can help us to fix this editor bug with big thanks
Wait, did you replace the "preset files" with the original MyBB ones? That happened to me but I just replaced the Editor ones to the original MyBB ones and everything was fixed

I don't think that's will fixed just with replacing the editor's files with the original mybb ones because same threads editing with HTML editor
