Hi guys,

I'm making a theme with a sidebar. Normally I would just go into thread view, index etc and add it into each viewing option individually, but I was wondering if 1.8 will let me create a template specifically for it's content that I could insert into the templates sections where the sidebar needs to show?

You could do this with a very simple plugin, but otherwise there's no way to reference a template from another in 1.x. This will be possible in 2.0 however.
