Anyone know of how i could turn off the redirecting page after every post? I would just like the member to be returned straight to the thread were they just posted instead of having to see that redirecting screen.

User CP -> Edit Options -> "Show friendly redirect pages." -> Uncheck -> Update Options

Alternatively, you can disable them for all users:
Admin CP --> Settings --> Server & Optimization --> Friendly Redirect Pages
