I tried to update myalerts to 2.0 and now nothing is displaying.
What should I do?

Please provide a link and demo account.

I have deleted most of the alerts files and now it is working fine.
Can somebody tell just what's going on with the myalerts 2.0?

Are there any errors in your server error log? It's likely a missing file or an incompatible PHP version. Which version of PHP are you using? Which version of MyBB are you using?

If you are using 2.0.0, update to 2.0.2 and look what happens then.

PHP Version 5.4.41 , mybb 1.8.5
