Whenever I upload images into my avatar folder on the forum via FTP, they do not show up on the USER CP Change Avatar page. How do I make them show up?

It should automatically update. Is the IMAGES/AVATAR directories CHMOD'ed to 0777? (777)

Yes, the folder is set to 777 CHMOD. It is still not working...

I have uploaded the avatar called "eye.gif", to

But, it still does not show up in the user control panel...

AdminCP --> Board Settings --> Change --> User Registration and Profile Options.

Make sure the Avatar Directory is set to:images/avatars

Yes, it is set to /forums/images/avatars/. Is it possible that this problem could be corrected in Mybb Gold?

/forums/images/avatars/ you say? Get rid of the /forums/ bit.
