I want to be able to post two times in a thread in my forum without this same thing happening:

Set "Post Merge Time" to a lower number from the default (60).
instead of above suggestion, it would be better to use Merge User Groups to Ignore setting on the same location
administrators & super moderators may be selected to be ignored from merging the posts
